This asymmetrical fireplace by Lew French has a sculptural feel. The big stones are from an abandoned quarry, and the small stones are fieldstone.
French designed this small building and the surrounding landscape in the Adirondacks.

For over 30 years, Lew French has been creating one-of-a-kind works in stone and other materials.
French created this sculpture in 2012 for a client he began working with 20 years ago.
The clients wife liked Frenchs sculpture so much that she asked him to create another. He made this one climbable for their grandchildren.
