This is the front of the house and garage.  A mud room connects them.
This is the back of the garage and mudroom.  The kitchen window faces south.
The master bedroom is in the bump-out over kitchen and great room.  The roofs have reminded my crew & I of the surrounding mountains in Vermont.
This is the hexagon porch on the north side.  A cool place to spend a summer afternoon.
Here is what the weather was like as we worked our way to the roof.  Shovel...Frame.  Shovel...Frame

This roof had gables upon gables, then dormers upon dormers, and to make sure we didn't relax during a cold and snowy winter, one end finished with hips spinning out over a hexagon porch.

We loved it.
