The house that makes the journey worthwhile

Three hours north of Seattle, plus a ferry ride, this home welcomes you to a serene and elegant place. It’s simple lines and minimal aesthetic allow for complete enjoyment of the natural surroundings. Floor to ceiling windows connect the interior spaces to the island light and breezes. Thoughtful site planning by the architects enables views and minimizes the homes footprint.

This house is part of the latest Taunton book, the new small house– which I photographed last summer along with Susan Teare– another “through the lens” photographer.
