Rachel White
Rachel White is the CEO of Byggmeister Design-Build, a 40-year-old remodeling firm in Newton, Mass., devoted to preserving and adapting existing homes to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Rachel got her start in the industry as a Byggmeister client. What began as an effort to reduce the energy and carbon footprint of her home became her life’s work. Prior to joining Byggmeister, Rachel taught modern Jewish history to adult learners. She holds a PhD in Religious Studies from Brown University.
