I have just installed old fashion style 1″ hexagon mosaic floor tiles that are unglazed. The homeowner is concerned about cleaning and wants a sealer or wax applied. Who out there has experience with this and what type of product would you recommend?

So what are the tiles made of; stone? Or perhaps unglazed pocelain?
Stone I might put a sealer on. The porcelain I'm not sure.
Why not contact the manufacturer of the tile to ask?

I am not sure if those tiles are porcelain or just a white ceramic, and I don't know if sealer would soak into porcelain--you could do the sealer over everything and wipe up the excess--at least the grout would be sealed.
Why were they not concerned before the tiles were installed--you can get the tiles in gloss or matte. Last resort, tell them it's not dirt, it's charm!
