Now that you've deleted the first post, there is even less information about your question

Maybe it's some wry Zen commentary on the nature of a true bid? No info, no specs at all. Now, bid grasshopper...
Paul,
I dont think its that, there is still to much information for it to be Zen.

My bid is $1,798,054.04, plus travel expenses and accommodations. Notice the odd number. I learned that here at BT - that indicates I've already "sharpened my pencil" and that there is no room for negotiation. :-) If I'm awarded the contract, I'll then worry about what I have bid on, and how I'm gonna get it done... ;-) Matt
Yeah, well I can do it for half that, but I don't have any insurance and I'll have to borrow some tools from my buddy and I'm just gonna be working on the weekends and evenings and can I have my first draw today?
I invented the jackleg.
There are several eletrical contractors down there in branson. Get at least three of them to bid on the electrical install on your house plans. Ask for at least a breakdown of materials and labor and an estimation of time to completion once the job is started. Compare the bids and you should have your answer.
