I have a curved wall around staircase, I need to take the baseboard and shoe mold out in order to install new hardwood floor. my question is how
can I install a curved baseboard and shoe molding for this wall?
Is there pre made curve baseboard and shoe mold strip?
advices appreciated.

Questions:
1) how was the existing base 'bent', and could it be saved and reused ?
2) material ? finish ? size ? radius of curve ? inside or outside curve ?
3) is the curved wall isolated (i.e. terminate at both ends); or, would this base have to eactly match and be joined into other sections ?
If you can't see where I'm going on all this: paint-grade wood or MDF base can be formed around a large radius fairly easily, and is cheap enough that you can risk scrapping a few pieces.
*Use FlexTrim. It comes in all different profiles and is the easiest to install. There are other options, but that is the easiest.Billy
*Depending of the type of baseboard and finish you are choosing. One method I have used over curved walls is cutting back slits in the back of the molding. Cut, using a skill saw if you want, cuts into the back of the molding that don't go all the way through to the front. The more cuts closer together you put them the sharper the curve you will be able to obtain.
*Andy,I had the same problem when I built the stairwell for a 5' dia. circular staircase. New hardwood floor just like you, but I used a 3 1/2" high oak base - no shoe. I simply took the 16' long prefinished stick and put in it my pool (salt water). As it got a bit soft, I slowly bent it. Fortunately, I had a similar curve in the pool, so over time (10 days), I just kept bending while inserting other 2x's to hold the bend. Eventually, I got just the curve I needed. Then took it out and let it dry (no damage to the finish) with a strap across the ends to hold it in place. My carpenter found it a piece of cake to install without making back slits.
