I just bought a complete alumapole system. Delivering tomorrow to jobsite. Can’t wait. 36 feet up, 24 feet over.

*Jeese...I rented my whole set up to a buddy for @200...Used it for 6 months.Kaching!...Did yaa get 12" or wider walky walk parts? And yaa need the back shelf....end rails...Catchall advertising tarpies...Lots of wall brackets...some roof brackets...36' up...brackets every 12'...pump up, detach, pump past, reattach....pump up, repeat....then a ladder to get down....or repeat all to get down....Oh yaa....set up 50' high once...by a twenty foot cliff....yup....jump out and down a good 60' plus to rocks...make sure yaa hit square on your head so as to avoid the voice operated wheel chair.near the stream,aj
*aj,not quite like that. the plank is about 20" wide, back shelf a little less. got side rails and advertising tarp. But I don't have to put any brackets until the first 24 feet, then just one more if I feel like it.Broke one bracket setting it up this afternoon, snapped right off. Good thing I wasn't up there yet.Hey, they should make these things convert to wall jacks, do double duty. Then they could sell me more attachments. Wonder if they've thought of that yet?
*MD- I like the idea of the dual purpose but I bet OSHA wouldn't be inclined to agree!
*I really dont see anything wrong with the old style pump jacks. The local fire dept. loves the donation I give them when ever I need to get down.
*ah, yes.. pump jacks.......i say a prayer.. close my eyes... kick the release.. and down i go!ever see the crank spinnin about 300 rpm ?talk aboucher E-ticket ride......
*I used to love that three foot adrenaline rush when starting down on those old jacks. "Honest Jimmy there's one more house left in these old thiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggggggsssssss!!!!!!!!!!!"jim
*For me, it was a no brainer. It's all about safety and speed. Makes something I used to dread seem fun. Plus, I'll have to get a banner for "free" advertising!
