Anyone here drill through Superior Walls

Won’t be doing this for a while (I’m still hustling to get my house dried in), but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience drilling openings for plumbing & electric through a Superior Walls foundation.
The SW Sales rep recommended using a core drill. Obviously I don’t want to shell out several hundred $$ to purchase 4 1/2″ core bit for my DWV outlet. That’s far to much since I will likely never use it again.
Would it make sense to rent a bit & use my 24V Bosch or Hole Hawg? Or do you need a special drill for core drilling? A plumber friend of mine usually uses a hammer drill & a 1/2″ bit, but he’s never done a Superior Walls foundation. Anyone use a hammer on a SW foundation?

I bought a 4-1/2" bit for my Bosch demo hammer on eBay for $60. Cheaper than a rental in the long run, even if you use it once, you can sell it used.
