Putting in some new suspended ceiling in an office and the customer is replacing all the lamps with these from the big orange box store.

I am used to product coming from a real commercial electrical supply house. I queston these because I am putting some in.The ones that are on 24/7 and only can go in as we put up the grid. Its tight. The wires on these look to be only around 18-20 ga solid. not to metion the snap in connectors that will not fly here. Customer isn’t sure if the electrician is licensed. A board member uses him. I buy from a supply house when I need most anything if I can when it comes to stuff like this. Usually its better quality and here in the Chicago area compatition helps keep pricing competative with the big box stores. Quality beats price pretty much all the time as far as I am concerned.
Should I warn the building manager or a board member about these things.

You should mention your concerns to someone with some horsepower, but leave it up to them to deal with the situation. I'm assuming that this will get inspected somewhere along the way.
