Have an older home and need access to attic via attic stairs, pull down type. Problem is ceiling is 13 ft. and longest ladder I can find is 12 ft. Anybody know of manufacturer that makes a little longer pull down ladder/stair?

Try searching online for pull down stairs. I found some awhile ago but cant remember the company. I would guess you can get anything made, but if you cant, what about a portable lower step you could put under the ladder.
Its certainly not the best choice but if all else fails....give it a try.
