I don't know of an online source. The old "Popular Mechanic's Do It Yourself Encylopedia" had a section on this. The library usually has a set or two. My 1955 set had nothing but my Dad has a set from the 60's that had plans. The used book stores are another source.

*Ben 1975 version of Popular Science Do It Yourself Encyclopedia had a stone and firebrick barbequeScott
*Don't bother.Go to Squares Barbeque in Abilene, Texas. You'll never make home made barbeque again.Best I ever had.Sorry, couldn't pass that up.Ed.
*Get a 55/gal. Drum, cut it in half length ways, throw the fire bricks inside,pl the fieldstone outside.Total fabrication time 20 minutes which is longer than the pl will hold the rocks to the can.Send out for ribsGood Luck, stephen
