I have an old circa 1940s kitchen sink that the finish has worn off is now staining daily. Any ideas on how to strip and refinish the whole thing? Products?

Andrew, do a search for the word "enamal" in the archives.
Sorry, but I can't seem to post/paste the link here.
Good luck, Steve

Should I reglaze a 30 year old bathtub and walls that are in excellent condition or should we replace these when remodeling our bathroom? We plan to stay in the house for at least 10 years and this is the children's bathroom that is being remodeled.
*Am i missing something? why would want to do anything if everything is in " excellent" condition? Or are you trying to keep up with the jones. work with what you have instead of trashing good stuff to vanity. just redid a 70s bathroom with all 1970 blue fixtures including an oversize cast iron tub. coulda trashed it all and wasted 2 grand on new fixtures. instead - new plastic laminate tub surround bent to fit and new vinyl flooring and new cabinet and top. everyone sez " hey this sorta looks like 1970 colored fixtures but this bathroom looks damm good".replacing stuff isn't alway the answertim h
