I am remodeling a master bathroom, the client wants the french doors for the entry into the bathroom.
This unit constructed from unprimed pine. It looks like Southern Yellow pine to me, not sure tho. They want a stained finish to closely match the rest of the decor.
Since this a moisture/humid/steam environment…..
What stain and finish is suggested ?
What finish can I use to prevent the moisture from affecting the doors?
Warping, frame sticking….etc.
Thanks for the help.

Pre stain and seal all wood before inserting glass.

Any stain is fine. just about any waterbased Poly is fine.
DO NOT USE " POLYSHADES one step to catasrophe".
Oil poly is good aswell. finish out doors if the smell gets ya high.
Yer not talking the tropical jungle or other 365 days a yr. constantly 100% humidity. I hope. Cuz they don't use doors in those locals.
Make yer reveals a tad larger on install, to CYA. JIC.
