I am putting an iron gate setup in front of my house and was wondering what would be the best name brand gate handle that I can put on my gate? I like the “S” or swirl style handle. Are there any that the finish wouldn’t rust up or peel from the tough Chicago winters? Any recommendations?
Thanks

You be wanting a handle alone or a latch too?
'53 Fords had some decent chrome, some still shine to this day.

Since you aren't plagued with a plethora of replies, let me try--how about powder-coated steel or anodized aluminum? Either one should hold up well. I cannot give you brand names however. Have you tried looking on-line? I saw some hand-forged latches in Van Dyke's, but they were not "S" shaped (http://www.vandykes.com). Other hardware catalogs may have them though.
