Going to finish part of the basement but would like some clarification. My walls will be built 6″ away from the foundation walls due to location of the DWV system. What is the proper and best way to accomplish the insulation and building of the walls to prevent moisture issues.
PS. There is a perimeter channel at base of interior foundation wall leading to sump. House built in 1989 (in upstate NY) and have had no water issues as of yet. It is a block wall foundation.
