In the April/May ’98 issue of FH, there was an article on the proper application of building paper and flashing. The author reference a product called “bituminous tape” and provided a couple of souces for it. I’ve misplaced my issue (#115, I think) and would appreciate anyone’s help in identifying where I can get this product. Thanks.

I have used the Protecto Wrap product which is called BT tape. I think it's great because of the way it seals around nails. One idiosyncrasy is that it is not compatible with silicone caulk. You will just love working with it. ;^) My building supply ordered it for me, but I am pretty sure Protowrap does mail order retail too.
