Those 9.6 prices might mean it is more beneficial to bargain shop for a 2 batt/charger and drill kit someplace.

Yea I looked and the 9.6 kit is 99$ So I so keep not wanting to have (another) bucket full of 9.6s and 12v old generation Bosch drills. Plus the kit comes with the small batts? batt48.
Hey if the 18 2.4 goes for 58$ then common sense says I should only have to pay? 1/2 right.(whishing)
How bout making lithium batts to mach my drills and stuff Corporate tards! No instead the throwaway society. Hey you know Bosch- drop it from 10' and it still works. So when you throw them away at least you won't breakem.
So what ya think open another amazon credit card to get the 30$ Hey I like that 80 less 30=50 so 25 ea I can live with that.
batt48 as a small battery aye? Little do I know.
Seems I recall one manufacturer provides both batteries working in the same tool or was that just for the charger?
I originally got 2 drill kits back in 03 so I had 4 bats but the little ones went first and now the 2.0s are just about gone. Now I can't remember how many bats I had for 9.6? I think the second drill kit came with the bigger batteries. I'll have to look.
I've got 14.4s? maybe 3 or 4 and at least 8 bats for them.
Also the got the 18Vs
But I like that little drill for all the small stuff and getting old and weak and all that.
And I like the chuck not the fixed so lithium replacement batteries would be the best choice.
Plus using the 18v HD and smoking it with a 4" hole saw, don't see how more battery could help.
Thanks Bosch
Seems that's part of the marketing ploy with profit off the batteries so when they die it's either buying new batts or a kit which promotes sales.
Perhaps an associated tool you don't yet have in your arsenal that will provide two new batts for multi use plus the intended use with that tool might make the buy.
Thinking your dilemma is pretty common. Maybe that's why there are so many super buys on new cordless tools without the batteries.
I'll be making a decision on a multicordless set when the next generation of Lithium tools comes thru with the bugs worked out
and then be staying with whatever manufacturer that is.
I just looked and the only 4 batteries total on the 9.6 so one of them came with the bigger 2.0 ?
I'm itchn for the 36 circular saw but I'm kinda pissed about the path basch took on this change.
Plus they have yet to show up with the or a new style (lithium) jig saw ,and how bout all our friggin baschboxradios.I think the crossover batteries that integrate to the old format are the sweet spot.
Well see how well basch does but I'm close to migrating. I guess they don't owe me any kisses so Oh well.
Kinda feeling like my view on the old walmart/Sam Walton and the new china mart/basch. Well the later are sourcing the same.
