CATS,
Depends what you want to do with it. I have the Bosch 7/8" SDS and like it. I use it for drilling holes for Red Devils, anchors for electrical work, etc. My uses are mainly drilling holes, 1/2" or less, which it drills in short order.
Very little chipping. Probably a bit light for that sort of thing.

I -loved- the Bosch rotary hammer I rented to drill a dozen 1/2" x 4" holes in poured concrete. It was an old model, bigger than the one you cite & similar to the 11232EVS. One of the easiest tools I've used, zipped through the concrete "like butter" and with decent control. Like to see how it does on more substantial drilling.

I bought one and so far I am pleased with my
decision. Drilling holes between 1/2 and 3/4
for anchors. Also bought an optional chuck to
drill in wood and drive screws. Got the job done
quick and easy. No ifs, no buts, no problems.
The hammmer only action is not very strong but
strong enough to break a solid brick. No reverse
(don't know why), fairly havey (about 10lb), very expensive($316 + Tax from HD), plastic case, big
but looks cheap, made in Germany, if you care.
