I saw the recall a couple of weeks ago and sent for my repair kit (heavier spring). The web site said do not use your saw until you receive the kit. Ha ha. The next time I used the saw, I went to set it down with the blade still spinning and it skidded to a stop on my table saw. The blade guard had not retracted fully. That was the first time it had happened. kind of scarry.

yikes, don't even say that. This weekend I got the notice that my dishwasher(kenmore) is being recalled because the motor likes to catch fire. Service won't be in for a week to fix it. I guess this means I will have clean fingernails for the rest of the week.
