I have a Bostich 15 ga angled finisher nailer, the magnesium model, that’s not too old. Maybe 4 boxes of nails through it. I tend to use Bostich brand nails cuz they are easily bought at HD. The gun jams a lot more than I think it should, like twice per magazine load. When it jams, the nail is sticking out of the nose about 1/4″. Any ideas what the problem is? The good news is that the jams are easy to clear.

I have the bostitch trim gun I think it's model is the fn60. I had problems with it jamming when it was a few years old but I don't use it every day. I ended sending it out for a hundred dolllar repair, it's been great since.
Have a good day

Got a Bostich rep nearby? I've had good luck with them; they'll make it right for ya.

Is that the SFN40? I think that's the one I have. No problems for me other than when I hit a drywall screw or nail plate, and then it's pretty easy to clear.
Are all the connections tight between where the nail holder and the nose of the gun meet? Sounds like maybe the driver isn't hitting the nail square on, and is sliding past somehow.

Is this the oil less or oil type, cause when any of the air tools start to jam its due to lack of lube and not just the piston and rings.
I'm not sure what you're asking. I use an oil-less compressor, and I put a couple of drops in the gun fitting every so often ... probably not often enough."Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

I would read your owners manual as I believe that gun to be oiless.

When you put some oil in the air fitting you are lubing the inside, some light lube on the feed and delivery mechanism stops things sticking and jamming.
If you can do without it for a few weeks, call Bostitch, they will probably tell you to pack it up and ship it to them where they will fix it free. They repaired my framer for free and it was 3 years old.
I had the old Bostitch finish gun, and although there wasn't anything really wrong with it, it didn't consistently set the nails, so I went to Hitatchi. Now that is a great finish gun.
