Does anyone know what brewers yeast will do to a septic system ?
I mean, after it goes through a persons ‘system’.
Having used a basic bucket for the past two years, I have had a chance to see what happens inside a tank. Or, at least what would happen inside a tank if the tank were emptied every week to 2 weeks.
Almost a year ago, I started taking brewers yeast every day. About 6 months ago I started noticing that after about a week, these yellowish ‘veins’ started growing all over what was in the bucket. Like the veins that are probably sticking out on the foreheads of some here who really didn’t want to read about this. LOL
The bucket was always dry. And no paper. Just biological waste. But if urine is left to sit for a couple days in a clear jar, it turns very cloudy as well. A layer of powdery looking stuff will form on the bottom of the jar.
Like I said, I first noticed this about 6 months ago, and so have paid attention. I am concerned about what effect this is going to have on a septic system, and/or on the holding tank in the trailer.
Will it make any difference at all ? Will it be good, bad, or just ugly ?
