After redoing a laundry room, we’ve decided that it would be nice to get the washer and drier up off the floor a bit. I’m therefore thinking about building a freestanding laundry base.
If you’ve done this, what did you use for the top surface, and how did you finish the top corner?
Thanks
Eric

Built one last year and used snap together floor tiles can't remember who made them. The stuff reminded me of laminate counter tops. The manufacturer made a 90 degree piece that matched the tile so it covered the seam where the side tiles met the floor tiles turned out nice. You could use an ordinary 90 degree piece you can buy at a lumberyard and paint or stain it to match the trim in your laundry room.
