Has anyone tried using the acrylic Cabot products on Hardishingles?  The Cabot brochures talk only of their product being applied to new and old wood.   Can’t their heavy-bodied stains work well on FC shingles? 

I’m assuming the Hardishingles come pre-primed, like the Hardi trim did.   (Side note: I’ll never use FC trim again!  What a major pain! Cutting, drilling, nailing, cracking, braking, you name it.  Oh, and the 10 foot lengths- what a waste! Next time it’s 16 foot Miratec)
