You know how PEX has a memory when it comes off the roll? It really doesn’t want to straighten out and fights you all the way. Can PEX be bent backwards in order to try and force it to straighten out without damaging it?
Also, how hard and tight can PEX be bent in order to minimize having to use elbow ftgs.
I know they sell straight lenghts of PEX (up to 10′ in my area) but it sorta defeats some of the convenience of using it.

Willie,
Pex can be bent backwards to straighten it, but carefully, it doesn't become perfect but can be done. The warmer it is the better.
Tight turns are possible but harder go easy and don't kink, they make some brackets to hold pex in a 90 where they come through a wall.

radius of turn varies with the diameter of the Pex.
Trick - if you kink it from bending too tight, to take the kink ou, you heat it until it is clear - see thru - and hold in the straight position untill it clouds and cools again. The memory of the fibre strands returns it to straight.
But I would not want to be taking my heat gun to a whole roll to straighten it.
