   try a good lumber supply yard...probably got some in stock... can't picture the pattern you're describing though...

   *Hey BB,Do you mean two foot lengths of material that was originally alot longer? Or material that comes as two foot lengths? I read your request as the former, which is something I once hunted down by finding a yard in a small town that still had a small stack of the stuff, long time ago unfortunately. Alot of those masonite patterns go out of production from what I am told and it can get ugly trying to find enough to patch in. If your buddy is only patching in, you could try another 12" nominal width hardboard material that might suffice as a weather patch, look similar from 300 feet away and hold the wolves at bay for a season or two. I'd try the most obscure lumberyards you can find, do a little browsing before going into the office as counter help might not even know what all they got out there, especially if it been collecting dust for the last 15 inventories.    *Guys,Louis, I do just need some 2' pcs of stuff that was once alot longer. Mike, not sure 'bout the 'bestos, masonite may be shit, but I don't think it has that in it. It is not sold, or stored, at any supply house within 100 miles of here, been checked out.I think Abiti is the brand. They're getting their pants sued off. Just thought someone may have squirreled some away... and now is the rainy day.If I can figure out this scanner my dad sent me, I'll get the profile up.Until then, I'm going with Louise's suggestion of 12" concrete stuff with bondo laps, that was the idea, wasn't it?Seen any houses we could pull a midnight raid on?
