Now that I think of it, if I export DWG or DXF, it would be a 2D representation, and not a 3D model?
Was your Q intended to mean will chief import the 3D model?

I don't have Chief. I work in CADKEY 97.
The Cadkey version I use is a 3D wireframe modeler, with some rendering capabilities.
The guy that does my surveying and site engineering has a current version of AutoCad, and can import the 3D files I send him, when I export the files as .dwg or .dxf.
I might be working with someone who has Chief, thus my Q.
I've just gone to the Chief site, and it says it can import the files, so I guess there is my answer.
Went to the source eh?I had thunk U had an older version of chief

I did, but gave away the disc, then upgraded computers. It's history. I never got the hang of it anyhow.
