   ...  If you want to clear all the discussions as read, at the bottom of the list of posts there is a link to click that says something like mark discussions as read or something like that

   Yes I do, what I'm getting at is that I would like to actually be able to delete all of the remaning post when I'm done readin so when I log on next only new ones show.

   at the bottome there is an option to click that says, mark discussions a read. then go up top and select unread messages, the discussions from the previous day may appear the next day if new posts have been made, other then doing this I dont know of anyway to get rid of the discussions

   That's the way mine works.

   In the field on your left, almost halfway down the screen, yuou see a line, "Show discussions..."

   followed by a dropdown menu.

   activate that drop menu to choose, "with unread messages"

   Then every time you reload, you will only see the ones you have not yet read.

   Fire away, bird!.

   In the left frame on your screen, scroll all the way to the bottom. Then click on "Mark Discussions as Read".

   That should do it.
