Hello to the Masonry experts from a lumber guy. I have a friend who is having a problem on a commercial project. It seems something in the exterior concrete walls is getting onto the window glass and pitting it. I’m assuming it is the lime. My friend believes if he cleans the concrete with something that won’t hurt the glass, and then seals the concrete, it will alleviate this problem. I’m curious to know if any of you have any products you use for this purpose, or any ideas on how to handle this situation. This project is in the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area, and it consists of many tilt up buildings, probably requiring materials available in 55 gallon drums.
Thanks, Jim
