I’ve dug-out a trench ( 12″ D x 10″ from footing ) around the perimeter of my basement for an interior drain system.
The rest of my basement floor is sound but not exactly level, should I pour the concrete for my trenches first and then level the floor or pour it all at once. The floor would need from 1/2″ in some places to approx 2″ in other areas.
Thanks for any suggestions, Keith

Pour it all at once.

Will a 1/2" of concrete even stay together. I always thought you needed at least 1.5-2" to keep it from breaking apart. I'm no expert though.
Personally I would try for 2" min.

Don't forget the vapor barrier.
Pour the trenches first, that's if you need concrete there. I have seen gravel bottoms instead of concrete. I believe concrete sloped towards the pump would be better. Only pour the slab areas that are 1/12" or thicker. Use flash patch and a primer ( called milk) for the thinner areas. A masonry supply house can help you get the correct primer and flash patch.
