My contractor has sealed the stained concrete floor in my kitchen and it looks great except that on the first coat there were a couple of puddles which are a problem. He thought that he could put more coats on the floor which it needed anyway and blend the puddles in. It didn’t work. Now we are trying to come up with a way to remove them. He said that he would get a floor buffer and remove them that way. I suggested just taking a palm sander and sanding them out. He is afraid that the palm sander would be too aggressive. I haven’t checked into a chemical solution. Any ideas?

Maybe a palm sander with a scotch brite pad? Like they always say "test in a non cospicuous area?
