Looking for some ideas on a craftsman bungelow house I’m doing.
Plans call square columns on a tapered base. The tapered base starts from grade, appx. 4′ wide tapering up to 3′ at the top on which two square columns sit.
I am questioning the best way to construct the bases. The foundation plan calls for block corbeling to project out to pick up the
bottom of these tapered bases, then I am assuming p.t. wood to frame the tapered sides, clad with cult. stone, and a stone cap on top.
Any hints or suggestions on how to acheive this look is appreciated.
