Carmen - I suggest that you try 'The American Builders' Companion' by Asher Benjamin and other historical reprint books by Benjamin (AIA Bookstore, even Barnes & Noble) that are available in paperback.
Also good is Roger Kennedy's book "Greek Revival America" if you can find it - I have a copy.
Good luck - If you can be more specific (jpeg?) perhaps you could get a more specific answer from those of us who admire Greek Revival architecture.

*Thank You for the suggestions. I'll look for those books. I've read it referred to as "Greek", but the house I'm working on is a Colonial Revival style with a gambrel roof. Also, when you said to be more specific there was a note in "(jpeg)". without sounding too stupid; what is this?
*a jpeg is a type of graphics file. He's asking for a picture.
