Just curious if anyone has any experience with “Contera’s Professional Estimator with Vendors Base (PEVB)and Proposal Writer”… they’re running a “buy now or you’ll never get such a great deal again” promotion, but I really don’t have time to evaluate their software I downloaded and make a decision in just one (busy) week… but according to their own description of what their software can do, I’d be foolish not to buy it… but we all probably have at least one program that sounded like a good idea at the time, gathering cyberdust…. anyone out there actually use their software? Will they be in business next year? (remember Contractor’s Dream?)

At $40 you should evaluate it! Ask for a MBG. It sounds neat, but...
*My information is that it's $350 for the full-featured $1000 program, this week only... what's an MBG?
*money-back guarantee -- a great idea for untested software. the $40 was for the entry-level -- if it bites the rest probably does too. My impression from the site was that they really want to break in on the business, so i bet there's more room for negotiation than "this week only." Tell them yhour concerns, and mention how contractors across the country listen to your opinions!
