Yeah - I was looking at the new issue last night. 2 pages showing how to do something that doesn't need to be done. I can fold a water tight corner in about a minute on a head flashing. That guy's a beginner.

I'm telling you two, you need to market yourselves as something akin to Click and Clack. You could shoot some video (remotely, too, so you don't have to be in the same spot) and post it to the FHB site.A little humor, a lot of craftsmanship, and a dash of panache and you'd get a good audience going.Best,

          Steve ,

Hows the family doing ?? Great I hope !

When will we be treated to some pictures ???

He'll want to be Click I bet and I'm not too keen on Clack so it's still in flux I think .

I do have to do more with that nice Sony camcorder I bought though .

Hope you get some rest and all is well .

          Best ,  Walter

Get Taunton to pay you for an article?

            That's a sore subject.

Well, I'd hope if we ever met, you might teach me.

Aren't you on the west coast? There's a fest there next week. Be glad to swap all the sheet metal info I've got for some concrete counter top chat. Think about trying to make it.http://www.quittintime.com/      View Image

          2. Waters | Aug 02, 2009 08:30pm | #28

            I did think about it.

Had folks in town this week, wife is 7mos pregnant, 5 year old running circles around us this summer.

            Then there's work.

            Hope you all have fun!

He's going to be at the Fest. You could show up with some Lagunitas and I'd bet you'd get a quick lesson.'Man who say it cannot be done should not interrupt man doing it' ~ Chinese proverb

Everyone is just ducky here, thanks.Must admit to a twinge of regret that I won't get to take the train with you guys. Sounds like it should be a great time. Next year for certain. You'll have to pass along Chalio's recipe for crab soup that I saw you mention the other day. I'd be up for trying that after reading your review.'Man who say it cannot be done should not interrupt man doing it' ~ Chinese proverb

I asked him for that recipe, you asked him, still no recipe! I got a feeling these guys got a secret recipe here and are planning on opening up a swanky soup place, just like on Seinfeld!

          7. dockelly | Jul 31, 2009 07:16am | #23

hopefully Grant will see this also, I was telling him about this great soup recipe. I went with full fat stuff, no 50% anything and everyone loved it, even the kids, spicy but not hot spicy:http://www.cabotcheese.coop/pages/recipes/recipe.php?id=128

          8. seeyou | Jul 31, 2009 12:58pm | #24

I don't think there is a written receipe.

Best that I can determine: Big pot of coconut milk, crabs, some long slender red peppers, potatoes, carrots, celery. Boil, simmer.http://www.quittintime.com/      View Image
