Wonder Winder, have a 75' 12 ga rolled up in mine. I will warn you that when the cord gets wet it doesn't wind back worth a snot. You do have to have somewhere to mount it to use it. Had mine 5 years or so and almost daily use for most of those years.
Let's not confuse the issue with facts!
I roll heavy cords on the ground. I just stack loops the size I want. You have to adjust the twist to get neat coils.
I keep a bit of cord near the male end, attached with a clove hitch, for tying up the rolled cord.
