Cost for covering old soffit and fascia?
Before the new drip edge and new shingle roof starts, I need to update the soffit and fascia. The 272 ft of soffit is about two feet wide and presently has 1/2″ painted plywood with 6″x12″ vents every 8′. The 200 linear feet of fascia board is 8″ wide, but 72′ of patio is 12″ wide.
Some I’ve seen used 10′ lengths of brown painted metal coil stock for the fascia and vinyl with perforation every 12″ to cover the soffit. What’s a good installed price and technique of fascia covering?
Thanks, Bill

I've been useing Azek sheet goods, can get it 3/8 thick up to 20' long.
I'd start by looking in the local yellow pages for seamless gutter companies. They usually do auminum soffit and fascia too.
To avoid paying a sales commission, don't call, go into the office and speak with the owner of each company. Get two or three bids/estimates.
Any local siding company could tell you.
Brown is not a good color for facia as it will fade considerally.
