My House was built in 1950 with a poured wall foundation up to grade level. From grade level up, it is block with a brick veneer. I just installed new windows and siding on the house and now would like to cover the brick veneer with stucco to take the focus off the ugly brick and highlight the windows and siding. How hard is it to do myself without having the stucco crack? I know I could just paint the brick, but I really want to get rid of the look of brick.

Get some expanded metal lathe http://tinyurl.com/2jy97r and attach it to the brick with Ramset nails with washers http://tinyurl.com/3yp3ej. Overlap the joints. Trowel on stucco.
Or apply a PVC panel (comes in 4x8 sheets like plywood) and paint to look like stucco.
You might be OK just stuccoing over the brick but I would think you'd get cracks.
What makes the brick ugly? And why do you think that it detracts from the windows and siding? They should compliment each other. They contrast in color and texture as well as geometric shape.
I suggest you post a few photos so that we can understand what you're concerned about.

Extremely, unless you can clone your self a couple of times or you really don't care about the quality of stucco.
Stucco is a high effort, high skill, crew served project.
