I have installed many feet of crown, but never on a cathedral ceiling. My main concern is going from the lower wall up to the peak. Will this cope well? Also, I should rip the back of the crown to make up for the gap it would leave, because crown is supposed to be installed on 90 degree wall/ ceiling transitions. I considered crown blocks. Also, to complicate things, there are two outside corners on the incline of the ceilings.
sorry, hard to explain the situation clearly without pics. Any guidance will help. It will probably come down to one more 16′ pc. for trial and error.
Thanks, Mike

One of the fine gentlemen who posts here offered this up some time back. It should cover the subject for you in depth.
