Does anyone have sources or contacts for custom wood siding.
I am trying to match a clients existing wood siding (1940’s) It is approx. 6″H with a drip edge detail at top(concave rout detail at the top as it slips underneath the next board. I am a midwest location (Chicago).

j sterling - Sounds like German novelty drop siding to me. Ususally available in #2 Engelmann spruce - maybe try calling around with that as a description. We can't get it in a better grade than that in the northeast without custom milling.

*Thanks, I dug through breaktime archives and found a link to Souther Wood Products. Looks to be a #105 yet I can't find it in cedar around here.
*#105 is correct but you likely won't be able to get it in a material much better than #2 Engelmann Spruce. If you DO find it, please let me know.Jeff
