I have a customer with a second story deck which will be finished underneath as a screened patio with lights, fan,etc. overhead. Owner has built deck with 3/4 t&g osb subfloor and now would like it finished with t&g cedar on top. It also must be waterproof to patio below. Any suggestions for a waterproofing that won’t fail when cedar is fastened to osb? Torched roof between osb and cedar seems like it would leak when cedar is fastened.
