I am about to install cement board siding (Hardi-board) on a house that has OSB sheathing covered with house wrap-but it has been exposed (i.e. without siding) for 6 years and the house wrap is looking faded and thin-will the wrap still be effective if sided over or can another layer of wrap be stapled over the first or does it need to be removed and new wrap applied ? (this is in northern arkansas)

I'd just go over it with another layer.

thanks for the advice on degraded housewrap-sounds right to me to put another layer.
