Hi,
Seems like once or twice a year I have to remove one of those fiberglass tub/shower surrounds. I hate it!
Last time I swore it’d be the last but I get the pleasure once more Monday morning. Seems like last time I used a metal blade and that did it best. I have a few but also bought a Lennox Fire Rescue blade today. It’s 14 tpi just a more agressive metal blade. I’ll see how it works, but as i recall it was the finer blade that just ate through it last time. Blades like th Torch or general wood demo blades are useless.
How do you guys approach this one?
Thanks up front,
Notrix

Do at least one a month as they were a popular new build item in our area 25-30 years ago. We really use any old used blade as we find anything cuts it but it will dull them so we use all the older used blades we have. DanT
Angle grinder with cutoff wheel?
I always have used a basic rough cut sawzall blade. What is the big deal? You cut it into about 5 or 6 pieces and haul it off! Angle grinder would create an awful lot of dust and just burn.
