I’m trying to get code(ubc)approval for a second floor exterior French door opening to nowhere. The door is a 6’inswing tempered glass unit. I am proposing a flush mounted(to siding)railing on the exterior of the door (no landing). The railing is of course designed to satisfy code(<4″ between balusters, 36″ high). Does anyone know of a way to provide code specifics for approval? thanks, Mark
