I’m putting a deck on a rental property – it was formerly a summer camp so it has marginal insulation (and a shallow pitch roof). I don’t want to put gutters on if I can avoid it.
I’m wondering if anyone has come across some sort of grid material I can install in place of the deck boards right under the drip line, so the water will pass right through rather than splash onto the siding. I’m imagining something like the grids they use on the floor of garages or driveways.
Thanks!

Whadda mean it's last call? I just got here.
I re-read your post and the rainhandler doesn't seem to be what you need if you want to put something on the deck.
It may help displace the rain off the roof enough, though.
Good luck.

Interesting thought. Do a google and find fiberglass floor grating, or maybe galvanized. Be sure to anchor it so it doesn't tip up.
I installed a linear drain in a large sidewalk. We went to a pool supply and bought some 2" wide plastic drain that's used around pools. Comes in two parts ... the body (U-shaped) which gets cast into the concrete, and the grate which snaps or screws in place. All you would need would be the grate. It's designed to be walked on with bare feet so it should work well for a deck. And it was reasonably priced, but it's been 4 yrs so I forget the details.
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it done the right way.
