My house was built during a time period when the local electric company gave a rebate equal to the cost of the system to any builder who installed an all electric heating system.
So, if you guessed I have electric baseboards you win. Compared to my friends who have to pay for electric and oil or gas, my bills aren’t any bgger. But, since i’m doing windows and carpet this winter I thought I might as well replace my Baseboards since they are ugly as sin after almost 20 years.
IS any one electric baseboard more efficient than another? I know resistance is resistance but one can hope cant he.

I am thinking about a few units by Hydro-sil, I think they are called. They are filled with a silcone type oil, that holds the heat longer between element useage...kinda like those ele Radiators on wheels.
Not cheap, but they sound promising
Google away, I don't have the website, and my Dial up is bogged down this am.
