I’m looking for information on installing end grain wood block flooring. Specifically on what grout to use. I have seen some commercially prepared products but they were pretty expensive per sq. ft. I seem to recall seeing a formula for mixing sawdust (from cutting the blocks?) with an oil based finish, or finishes, & using that as the grout. Has anyone heard of this or seen it done anywhere?
I assume that whatever is used would have to remain flexible enough to absorb the movement of the wood but still dry completely enough not to be a fire hazard or a source of spontaneous combustion (the oily rag theory)
