Exterior Trim – Bay Window
This will follow up a earlier post I did on trim that you guys helped me with. Just to show you that I am making some progress here. Slowly. Feel free to comment good and bad.
Original window trim:
Doing this in stages due to time and weather.
Shims to make the corner positions come out right.
Shims installed. This window is installed very crooked so every angle is a custom fit.
Trim band installed and bottom demoed out
Top trim. This was originally recessed about 1/2 inch behind the front of the window.
Almost finished. Still have to adjust some places, finish priming and add some caulking.

That would have been handy. I started looking for it, gave up and started a new thread. I guess I should work a little faster, then maybe my thread would stay a little closer to the top.
That's a big improvement over the old. I'd consider changing the color on the whole house, that rose/mauve colored trim looks tired.
Agreed! It will all be white in a couple of months. Just have a few more areas to repair and then the painting will begin.
