This will follow up a earlier post I did on trim that you guys helped me with. Just to show you that I am making some progress here. Slowly. Feel free to comment good and bad.
Original window trim:
Doing this in stages due to time and weather.
Shims to make the corner positions come out right.
Shims installed. This window is installed very crooked so every angle is a custom fit.
Trim band installed and bottom demoed out
Top trim. This was originally recessed about 1/2 inch behind the front of the window.
Almost finished. Still have to adjust some places, finish priming and add some caulking.

To find your old threads click on the drop-down on the left center of your screen that says "Show Discussions..." above it. Choose "of High Interest". You will see all the threads you have posted to (or started) in recent history...

That would have been handy. I started looking for it, gave up and started a new thread. I guess I should work a little faster, then maybe my thread would stay a little closer to the top.

That's a big improvement over the old. I'd consider changing the color on the whole house, that rose/mauve colored trim looks tired.

Agreed! It will all be white in a couple of months. Just have a few more areas to repair and then the painting will begin.
