Good information,..but who is the manufacturer?

  2. Clewless1 | Jul 19, 2008 08:11am | #2

You should be able to replace with just about any motor meeting the same specs ... particularly the motor speed, HP, and FLA  ... motors typically only come in e.g. 3 speeds, I think.

    Plan B ... drink the wine ... quickly .... I'll be there.

"Its only urgent!! The wines warming up!!"

Post your address and we will solve the problem of the wine warming up.

Have you check the start cap. Tht is more likely the problem than a motor failure.

Granger or a local HVAC supplier should be able to match it up.

Or a local appliance parts dealer.

I don't know if Marcone is near you are not.

    But they are DIY friendly.

And, at least my local store, is open Sat AM. But the phone system goes through corparate which is closed.

      Bill,

Don't you have to be a business to buy from Grainger?  WAs looking for a nut driver and was going to order it on line but they said they don't sell to the general public. Do I need to make up my own business?

"Do I need to make up my own business?"From what I have heard that is basically it.I have not bought anything directly from them, but did take a client to buy a motor starting cap (which immediately blew up) and he took his company check book. But it was clear that they would take anything, just need to have a "company name"..

I was clear until that part - what is a "molunt"?

    Sounds kinda' like "mutant".

hope they have something for you
your electrical info is a typical Air Over fan motor
but I couldn't find that M/N so it might be OEM, I kinda doubt it though !!.

yes, that's what I thought it was, those are a common type of fan motor so Grainger might have a replacement too!

I'm going to call breezaire first 'cause this kind of motor should have a long life. This one is 18 months in service!

If they are no help then I'll go to the Grainger near me.

            Thanks for helping.

I have the system running again using a 12" box fan to cool the coils on the outdoor unit. Its working great for now.

Sorry all, party is off for now!
