I need to match a particular tile in order to patch in some kitchen floor tiles. Anybody know a good way to match tile via the web? Anybody know a tile manufacturer that stamps I.A.C. on the underside of their tiles?

What type of tile is it? Size? Thickness? Pattern? Do you have any clues as to its age? If it's relatively recent I would start by talking to the local suppliers, odds are it came through them before it was installed.
I think Andy's on the right track. It sounds like you have some damaged tiles. I'd pull one of them up as intact as possible and take the pieces around to all of the flooring stores in the area. Find a salesperson who has been there long enough to be familer with the tile selections. He or she might nail it down pretty quick. Otherwise, you'll stand there with a new salesperson going through the entire stock of samples one by one.

Take a full tile to a Laufen distributor and tell him it is one of his. Betcha get a match unless it's been discontinued.
I think you have a 10 percent chance , and then it will certainly be a different run number , meaning a different dye lot. I just ordered the same color name , formica flooring and it was a different color. I think you get to take it up, and install a new tile floor. Be sure you order extra and put them in the attic. I put all scrap I can in the attic in my rentals . Has been a good system to me.
